A total of 5,500 Farmers covering 5,500 ha have been registered as beneficiaries growing 8 Horticultural crops viz Ginger, Turmeric, King Chilli, Sirarakhong Chilli, Avocado, Kiwi, Pineapple, Passion Fruit and 3 Agricultural crops viz Chak-hao (Black Aromatic Rice), Hawai Makhyatmubi, Millets. A total of 271 Farmer Interest Groups (FIFs) comprising 20-25 farmers each have been formed to facilitate organic farming on cluster basis for the successful implementation of the scheme.
